When I first started my Neocities website in 2023, I jumped on the trend of "shrines" because it reminded me of mini fansites I'd make for my favorite things in the early 2000s. I made two and they were both for video games.

Fast forward a few years to 2025,and Monster Hunter Wilds came out. I wanted to add a log to my Monster Hunter shrine, but couldn't figure out how. That literal single need blossomed into the idea of a gaming site and now here we are.

GAMEZILLA came from my brain I think, I don't remember. I decided to make it the title of the site (arcade game) with each section (game selection) focused on a game. I created title cards inspired by Godzilla movies.
