I don't have fun things to say, personally. During winter I take a social media break and pull back from all social web things on the weekends so I can focus inward on hobbies and reflect on the year that just ended. While others get SAD, I get inspired. While others complain about the cold, I thrive without the heat. January and February tend to be "high energy" months for me, which means I'm less likely to spend time poking around online.
