August 2025 Issue
Happy August everyone!
I know that for various reasons August is a most-hated month (it's hot, school starts again soon, holiday seasons are coming, hurricanes), but it's my birthday month so I'm in a good mood despite all of that. I see the birth month as an opportunity to reflect on another year of life and celebrate your wins, mourn the losses, and figure out what you're going to carry with you and what you'll leave behind.
Even if August isn't your birthday month, take this as a reminder to hold a little tighter onto the things and people that bring you joy.
This month I am taking nature walks, camping alone for a week, decluttering my bedroom, updating my resume, watching Stephen King media, and finishing my Harvard course on the US government.
I will be without air conditioning all month, so please keep me in your thoughts. Stay cool out there.

8/23/25: New entry in the travel journal for my birthday trip!
8/19/25: Added to the Hatchery pixel clique.
8/7/25: Added a journals page that describes all the different online journals I keep. This 'bookmark page' was mostly made for my bestie who reads them all.
8/6/25: Updated the layout on the exit/links page so it's easier to maintain.
8/2/25: 69 followers!! Nice.
